At Brambles and Brushstrokes, we offer inclusive, nature-inspired creative workshops for adults and young people with learning disabilities. Every session is thoughtfully designed to provide a welcoming, supportive environment where participants can explore, create and enjoy the satisfaction of making something by hand.

No previous experience is needed. Activities are adapted to suit different abilities, interests and support needs, ensuring everyone can participate in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful to them.

One-Off Taster Sessions

A wonderful way to introduce creativity into your setting.

Our taster sessions offer participants the chance to explore a seasonal craft activity in a relaxed and engaging environment. These sessions are ideal for organisations looking to try something new or celebrate a special occasion.

Perfect for:
• Day services
• Community groups
• Residential settings
• Special events and celebrations

Regular Workshops

Creativity flourishes through routine and familiarity.

Weekly or fortnightly sessions provide opportunities for participants to build confidence, develop new skills and form connections over time. Familiar faces, repeated experiences and the freedom to experiment all help create a sense of belonging and achievement.

Sessions can be tailored around the needs and interests of your group and may explore a variety of creative techniques throughout the year.

Themed Creative Programmes

Our themed programmes offer a deeper creative journey over a number of weeks.

These six-week blocks allow participants to explore a particular theme, season or craft technique in greater depth, developing their confidence and skills as they progress through the programme.

Examples might include:
• The Colours of Spring
• Woodland Wonders
• Seaside Treasures
• Harvest and Hedgerow Crafts
• Winter Light and Celebration

Bespoke Workshops

Every group is different, and we believe creative experiences should reflect the people taking part.

Bespoke workshops are developed in partnership with organisations, families and support teams to ensure activities are engaging, accessible and suited to individual needs and preferences.

Together, we can create experiences that celebrate the strengths, interests and personalities of those involved.
